STARTS WITH A QUALIFIED NAME
STARTS WITH RELATIONAL CAPITAL
Inward out starts with an existing relationship and asks a different question: "Who can the people we already know credibly introduce us to?" Instead of trying to manufacture trust from the outside in, it begins with relational capital that already exists and identifies where that trust can create meaningful access.
The quality and depth of those relationships, and whether they are ready to support a referral conversation, become the starting point for everything that follows.
A HUB is someone with whom genuine rapport and trust exist, who is connected to multiple financially qualified individuals and can create a credible path to people who would otherwise be extraordinarily difficult to reach. That person may be a long standing client, donor, friend, center of influence, or advisor. But they do not have to be. Relationship length does not determine whether a referral conversation is appropriate.
Some relationships take years to develop that rapport. Others get there remarkably quickly. WealthQuotient coaches practitioners to evaluate existing and developing relationships through the right lens, identify who can become a HUB, and recognize when the rapport warrants the conversation.
Outward in gives you a qualified name and the problem, "How do I get to them?" The right HUBs build a pipeline of qualified and accessible prospects, one effective referral conversation away.
01
Identify HUBs
Continually evaluate existing and developing relationships through the right lens to identify the people with the rapport and connections to create meaningful referral opportunities.
02
Map Social Graph
As HUBs are identified, map their actual networks and financially qualify the HNW and UHNW individuals within them to surface qualified and accessible prospects.
03
Ask For the Intro
Coach practitioners to have specific, natural referral conversations that make it as easy as possible for the HUB to help and turn the conversation into actual introductions.
04
Build the Prospect Profile
Before the first meeting, build a deep profile so practitioners know as much as possible about the prospect rather than relying on charm, charisma, and chance to find common ground.
05
Be Bespoke
Accelerate chemistry and trust once inside the meeting itself, resisting the instinct to sell before the relationship has had time to carry the opportunity.
The process does not end with an introduction. A warm introduction creates the opportunity to build rapport and trust with a new prospect, develop that relationship into a new client or donor, and begin the process again. As practitioners build relational capital across a growing base of relationships, new HUBs emerge and more qualified and accessible prospects come within reach.
This is how referrals move from isolated events to a repeatable source of pipeline and growth: build relational capital, develop relationships into HUBs, have effective referral conversations, build the prospect relationship, and create new client and donor relationships that feed the cycle again.
